   Just heard the good word from Hoarse that I will be included in their next issue, scheduled for release later this month. Hoarse is a fine literary journal from Seattle, featuring voices from the Pacific Northwest and beyond (check out earlier editions here). Their theme for this issue is "Field Day." My accepted piece is called "Listening to the Weatherman" and is about meteorology and dogs.

   To all Seattleites looking for an afternoon of tug-o-war and poetry, head down to Miller Park (19th and Thomas) on October 8th at 2pm for Issue 4's release party.
